November 30, 2007 New Year’s Eve at The Firehouse Voted “Most Romantic,” “Best Special Occasion” The
dining experience begins with a choice of Crab Gazpacho Cocktail or Kobe Beef
Tartare with Truffle Oil followed by Duck Confit Spring rolls, Oysters or
Baked Brie en Croûte. The third-course
offers Asparagus on a Baby Romaine-Herb Bundle with Smoked Pepper Vinaigrette
and Chèvre Mousseline or Cold-Smoked Diver Scallop on Baby Mâche Salad with
Golden Beet Vinaigrette topped with American Sturgeon Caviar. After
an Intermezzo of Champagne Meyer Lemon Sorbet, main course offerings are
Filet Mignon, Stuffed Pork Loin Chop, Chilean Sea Bass or
Pomegranate-Lacquered Venison. Chocolate
Gâteau or Poached Pear Terrine top off the decadent celebration. The Firehouse staff can
suggest memorable wines to perfectly accompany the New Year’s Eve menu
choices from the restaurant’s nationally recognized wine collection, which
boasts more then 1,200 labels. The
Six-Course New Year’s Eve Menu is $99. To

11:00 p.m. in the Main Dining Room or the Courtyard Grill with a view of the
courtyard patio, where Old Sacramento Fireworks may be viewed at 9:00 and
Midnight. Reservations are
