Thanksgiving At The Firehouse

 

SACRAMENTO.-.Executive Chef Deneb Williams and Chef de Cuisine Matthew Newton have planned a Four-Course Thanksgiving Dinner Menu featuring creative classics.

 

The prix fixe menu blends seasonal flavors and ingredients in dishes that will please traditionalists as well as those with more inventive tastes.  The menu begins with a choice of Baked Brie en Croûte or Smoked Pheasant-Stuffed Artichoke Hearts, followed by a second course of Butternut Squash Bisque or Firehouse Salad.

 

The entrée offerings are:  Roast Turkey Breast with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Spiced Apple-Pecan Stuffing; Smoked Pork Loin; Steak Diane with Wild Mushroom-Artichoke Sauce; Pan-Seared Alaskan Halibut with Wild Rice Sweet Potato Fritter; or Wild Mushroom Risotto.

 

Desserts of Wild Main Blueberry Cheesecake or Ginger Spice Pumpkin Torte complete the culinary experience.

 

For children 12 years of age and younger, a menu including Fresh Fruit and Berries, Roast Turkey Breast or Chicken Fingers and a Brownie Sundae is offered.

The Four-Course Thanksgiving Dinner is $44.95 and the children’s dinner is $15.  Thanksgiving dinner will be served on November 22nd from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m.

 

Reservations are required.  The Firehouse is located in Old Sacramento at 1112 Second Street.  Valet parking is available.
