The Courtyard

Guests have called our Courtyard, “Sacramento’s most romantic dining spot.” With 4,000 square feet of space perfect for dancing, dining and socializing, the leafy canopy and ivy-laced walls abate temperatures even on the hottest summer day, while the charm of the setting warms any social occasion. The Courtyard is roomy enough to accommodate up to 400 guests for a cocktail party or similar reception-style affair.

The very popular Courtyard Grill provides a comfortable setting for business gatherings, political events, and receptions of any kind. The massive fireplace, dark wood bar, ornate mirrors, and graceful skylight create the perfect backdrop with accommodations of up to 125 reception guests or 72 seated guests.

If you are seeking a private room for a gathering or private business meeting, Wine Cellar 1 offers a perfect solution. With wine bottles lining one end of the room and a stained-glass window and period artwork elegantly featured along the remaining walls, this charming room can easily accommodate up to 16 guests. For business, political, and social functions, our Wine Cellar 2 offers a unique and refreshing change of scenery. The warm atmosphere of the room is ideal for luncheons, evening affairs, or day-long seminars. Rich colors and gracious furnishings provide a comfortable setting for up to 28 guests.

As you walk the hallway to our Golden Eagle Room, you’ll pass photos of just a few of the many movie stars, sports celebrities, and political figures that have enjoyed our unparalleled hospitality. The room’s ambiance of traditional Gold Rush elegance is highlighted by antique furnishings, oil paintings, and gilded mirrors, and accommodate up to 110 seated guests. The Golden Eagle Salon is also a great option for smaller parties that request a full bar.
